Quick Navigation
The Ghost
Basic Info
Behavior
The Ghost is one of the most common monsters. It patrols hallways and rooms, extremely sensitive to light and sound. When players turn on flashlights or make noise, the Ghost immediately turns toward the source to investigate.
Counter Strategy
When encountering a Ghost, immediately turn off your flashlight and crouch still. The Ghost has limited vision in darkness. If you remain quiet and motionless, it typically leaves after 10-15 seconds. Never run within the Ghost's line of sight, as this triggers chase mode.
The Hound
Basic Info
Behavior
The Hound has the keenest hearing in the game, capable of detecting noise across the entire map. It doesn't patrol but remains stationary until noise activates it, then rushes at extreme speed toward the sound source. The Hound cannot climb but can jump over low obstacles.
Counter Strategy
Absolute silence is required near the Hound. Use Sound Dampener pads to eliminate transport noise. If activated, immediately drop items and flee to high ground or enclosed rooms. The Hound returns to its original position after 20 seconds of chasing—use this to your advantage with decoy tactics.
The Giant
Basic Info
Behavior
The Giant is the largest monster, reaching 3 meters in height. Its vision range is extremely wide, capable of seeing through windows and door gaps. The Giant moves slowly but has massive attack range, capable of downing players in one hit. It can destroy wooden doors and thin walls.
Counter Strategy
Use the Giant's slow movement to your advantage by flanking or circling behind. Never attempt frontal confrontation. If spotted, immediately find a room with a heavy metal door. The Giant cannot destroy metal doors but will wait outside for some time.
The Crawler
Basic Info
Behavior
The Crawler is a fast ground-crawling monster that locates players by sensing ground vibrations. It travels through ventilation ducts and narrow spaces, often attacking from unexpected angles. The Crawler has weak detection of stationary players.
Counter Strategy
In areas known to have Crawlers, move slowly and avoid continuous running. Crawlers fear bright light—direct flashlight beams make them temporarily retreat. In narrow passages, have your most agile team member scout ahead.
The Masked
Basic Info
Behavior
The Masked is a humanoid monster wearing various masks. It mimics player movements and poses. If a player remains motionless for too long, the Masked gradually approaches attempting to "replace" the player. It can recognize player equipment and items.
Counter Strategy
The key to the Masked is continuous movement. Change position or posture every 5-10 seconds, never letting it approach. The Masked is not sensitive to sound, so you can perform quiet transport work near it.
The Doll
Basic Info
Behavior
The Doll is a stationary monster typically found in room corners or on furniture. When a player's gaze leaves the Doll, it teleports to a position closer to the player. If the Doll reaches a player's back and maintains eye contact for over 3 seconds, the player is immediately downed.
Counter Strategy
After spotting a Doll, maintain eye contact while calling for teammate assistance. Teammates can approach from behind to "contain" the Doll using specific items. Never turn your back on a Doll—even when carrying items, ensure at least one teammate is watching it.
